INNOVATORS

ABOUT THE VIDEO:

Several questions arise with the research of animals; the video will go over such questions, and provide answers to them as well. Ethics are important within any science field, however when they involve the lives of other organisms, they play an even more critical role.

MORE INFORMATION

THE VIDEOS SERVE AS EXPLANATIONS TO THE MANY QUESTIONS ASSOCIATED WITH ANIMAL AGRICULTURE. FROM ETHICS TO AN ANIMAL RESEARCH FACILITY, THE VIDEOS COVER A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING

ABOUT THE VIDEO:

One of the most vital questions that rises with agriculture is the usage of animals itself. Why do we use animals in the first place? This video will provide the answer many are looking for. Animals are essential for a variety of necessities, that otherwise cannot be achieved without the aids of animals-  the video will highlight a few of the needs.

ABOUT THE VIDEO:

Many studies involve the experimentation of animals. The most common is the enviorpig, which ultimately failed, but does explain the extent to which such studies are conducted. Enviorpig may not be the next human food, but similar food products may emerge in the future

ABOUT THE VIDEO:

To fully understand what animal researchers do, it is first essential to comprehend what their surrounding are like. This video will briefly explain the enviornment scientists work in as well as the technology available to them.

Since the beginning of time, humans have depended on animals for food, labor, and transportation. Animal biotechnology applies genetic engineering to enhance the efficency of animals to a greater extent. Genetic engineering of organisms allows for countless amounts of oppurtunities, that were not previously possible with traditional methods. From "super mice" to Dolly the Sheep, animal agriculture, has developed various unique organisms that cannot be found in the natural world.  If accepted by the public and authorities, animal biotechnology can transform how we manipulate nature in the Western societies.

Impact of Biotechnology on Animal Agriculture

Animal Biotechnology

Imagine a world in which no one stays hungry, where no one has to wait for organ transplants, and medicines can be taken just by consuming milk. Such a world is possible with the aid of animal biotechnology. Animal agriculture has advanced tremendously since the traditonal breeding techniques used 5000 years ago. From transgenic animals to cloned organisms, a wide variety of options are made possible through biotechnology.
